The Black Food Project’s work brings together catering, culture, education, functional food, and community-driven impact into a single, cohesive platform — because this work cannot be done in isolation, and can only succeed as a comprehensive, collective effort.
What We Do
Catering & Eat & Greet
Our catering division and “Eat & Greet” concept bring Black culinary traditions to the table — from community gatherings to full-scale catered events — as a direct expression of our mission to blend culture and cuisine.
Branded Food Products
Jones HOMEMADE and other branded product lines carry Black culinary traditions into homes and markets beyond our own kitchen — building a model that is both culturally empowering and financially viable.
Functional Foods
We innovate in functional foods and nutrition, developing products designed to promote health and food security within the communities we serve.
Eco-Tourism
We connect community members and visitors to the roots of our food system through eco-tourism experiences that highlight sustainable and regenerative food practices.
Educational Services
Through partnerships with Breithaupt and Golightly Vocational Schools, we provide education and vocational training that prepares community members for careers across the food system.
Our Strategic Goals
